'NAGARAHAVU' AUDIO COMES

As declared already the PEN Movies headed by Sajid Quereshi producer of Nagarahavu' - Rs.40 crores budget cinema in Kannada and Telugu (Nagabharana) audio CD was released at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital second floor auditorium situated at NIMHANS on August 14. The charity of Rs.1 lakh to 24 patients picked from various government hospital in Karnataka were given the DD in the presence of director of Nagarahavu' Kodi Ramakrishna, music director Gurukiran, Sajid Quereshi producer and Dr Shashidhar Bujji on the dais. The audio CD of the film was brought to market by Sony Music.

Kodi Ramakrishna in his address says instead of throwing food and wasting money the great work from Nagarahavu' is something the Indian film industry should follow. In our country we are wasting money and food. That should stop with programs like helping the poor. Dr Vishnu also did not like such wastage. I have made a story and narrated it to him. When I went abroad and ready with dialogues he had made his exit. Dr Vishnu once narrated the 90 years old woman receiving money order for Rs.100 but actually only rupees 75 was reaching her. Rs.25 was cut by postman. Today this charity for needy from Nagarahavu' team is watched by the world. Others need to follow it stated Kodi Ramakrishna. Among 25 persons, 23 persons were present to receive the aid. Bharathi, Varadaraju, Chandrasekhar, Krishnamurthy, Karthik, Ravi Kumar, Annappa, Ravi, Munivenkatappa, Ningappa, Srinidi and Chandravva added to the list of already announced 10 persons - Sowmya, Varsha, Prakash, Kiran, Gautham Reddy, Pushpa, Humanti, Ambika, Parvathamma mother of ten children and Srinivas HIV affected and Mukund Rao.

Simha Hastha team headed by Manu traveled nook and corner of Karnataka in the last 20 days met thousands of patients and picked deserving ones. The Sneha, Sahaya and Souharda is the catch line for Nagarahavu' admirable work. Sajid Quereshi thanked the team of Simha Hastha' for doing a fine job. Nagarahavu', music director Gurukiran hailed the thought of the team of Nagarahavu' and said Dr Vishnu would have liked this approach to the fullest. I miss Dr Vishnu very much and I obtained his autograph as fan in 1983 disclosed Gurukiran. On a pertinent point what Gurukiran made was that the cinema making is a business - earning money is always the thought. But being part of charity is not heard. Dr Shashidhar Buggi director of the Rajiv Gandhi Hospital observed that doctors see God in patients. NIMHANS was the first to introduce Citizen Chart in the hospital, today NIMHANS becomes eye witness to a glorious event of charity instead of wasting money. This is for the first time in India stated Dr Shashidhar Buggi. Dr Vishnu would feel very happy in the heaven he feels.
